Bio:
Jun is Associate Professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and Director, Vector Development of the Viral Vector Core. He has led the discovery of multiple natural AAV capsid isolates and developed an AAV-compatible platform for efficient and precise gene silencing in vivo.
Jun received his PhD (Genetics) from the University of Sun Yat-Sen, Guangzhou, China. His research interests center around the development of novel AAVs, optimization of rAAV vector genome and manufacturing, and rAAV-mediated miRNA/shRNA therapeutics.
